Practical help. Years of possibility.

Equipment gets used. Skills get practiced. Confidence goes home with them.

Already making a difference

Twelve tents.
Countless nights under the stars.

The Alumni Association reimbursed the troop for twelve new tents purchased for $1,200, with a retail value of $5,400. A carefully chosen purchase became shared equipment for years of adventures.

Keep the door open

He should be thinking about his next adventure. Not whether he can afford it.

Registration, uniforms, travel and camp add up. Many of our Scouts also participate in school sports, music and other activities with costs of their own.

Scouts work toward their goals through fundraising. The Alumni Association helps close the gap with scholarships, equipment and program support, so more boys can take part.

Your gift can help turn “I can’t afford to go” into “I’ll be there.”

What a parent sees
“When my son joined Troop 826 two years ago, I expected camping, merit badges and time outdoors. What I did not expect was how much he would grow. At 15, he is more active, more confident and becoming a leader. Watching that happen has been amazing.”
— Ben, Troop 826 parent

Service passed from one Scout to the next.
Your neighbors today. Leaders tomorrow.

They learn to notice when someone needs a hand.

More than 4,000 Memorial Day flags. Eagle Scout projects. Conservation work. A helping hand at VFW Post 9473 and community events.

Our Scouts help neighbors recover from storm damage, mentor younger Scouts and learn to take responsibility for the people and places around them.

For 30 years, Troop 826 has helped young men practice leadership by doing something useful. Your support helps that tradition continue, right here at home.

Who receives my gift?

Direct giving is arranged through the Troop 826 Alumni Association. Contact us for its giving instructions and the organization information needed for your records or workplace program.

Does choosing monthly start a payment?

No. The amount chooser prepares a request to discuss monthly support. No card details are collected, no money is taken and no subscription starts here. We’ll help you arrange giving directly.

Can my employer match a gift?

Possibly. Each employer sets its own eligibility and matching rules. Ask your employer first, then contact us for the Alumni Association’s details.

Can I donate equipment or supplies?

Yes, please talk with us first so we can confirm what the troop needs and can use. A well-matched equipment gift can serve Scouts for years.
