Our scouts are gearing up for a spooky October adventure at Camp Falling Rock for our annual Halloween Campout. Decorated tents, ghost stories around the campfire, and plenty of Halloween spirit make this one of our most anticipated campouts of the year. This tradition combines outdoor skills with creativity and camaraderie as scouts transform their campsites into haunted havens. Always a great time - BOO!
Our scouts took to the water for an exciting canoe and kayak adventure at Caesar Creek State Park this September. Paddled the scenic reservoir, our troop honed their aquatic skills while enjoying the natural beauty of southwestern Ohio. Saturday evening brought amazing fireside skits and some interesting cuisine prepared by our creative scouts. This campout provided valuable preparation and training as our scouts continue building the experience needed for future high adventure opportunities on the water.
Our scouts are preparing for the ultimate aquatic adventure at Florida Sea Base from July 16th through 21st. This legendary high adventure experience will take our crew sailing and snorkeling through the crystal-clear waters of the Florida Keys, with opportunities for fishing, diving, and marine exploration. Sea Base represents one of Scouting's most coveted adventures - where our scouts will navigate tropical waters and create memories of a lifetime.
Our scouts experienced an unforgettable week at Seven Ranges Scout Reservation in Kensington, Ohio from June 15th through 21st. Merit badges, campfire stories, and the legendary Pipestone tradition are creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Four of our dedicated scouts traveled to Camp OYO in Friendship, Ohio from June 8th through 15th for National Youth Leadership Training. This intensive week-long leadership development course equipped our future troop leaders with advanced skills in communication, team building, and outdoor leadership. NYLT represents the pinnacle of youth leadership training in Scouting, preparing our scouts to lead with confidence and vision.
Great job Troop for another successful Memorial Day flag planting! Completed all flags in about 2.5 hours. Thanks to the scouts, Eagle Scouts, family members, and adult leaders who helped this morning.
